After The Harvest

“Los Meses Flacos,” or the thin months are the times after coffee has been harvested and paid for when families make ends meet by eating less, eating less expensive foods, or borrowing against their future earnings from coffee. This is a trailer for the film “After the Harvest: The Fight Against Hunger in the Coffeelands” a documentary that brings the day-to-day challenges of the thin months to life in the voices of coffee farmers themselves.
